What is Nihongo Quest?
How much Japanese will I learn?
On release, it will teach you the Japanese fundamentals, but if the game is popular enough, we hope to continue to support the game to an advanced level.
When will the game be released?
Nihongo Quest will release in March of 2023. We are currently in a private beta test of the game.
How do I join beta testing?
At this time, we do not anticipate we will open the beta again. However, if there are any further openings, info will be distributed through our discord server exclusively.
What systems will Nihongo Quest be available for?
Currently, releases are planned for Windows, Mac, Linux on Steam. iOS and Android ports are also planned.
If the game is a success, we may get a publisher to help us port the game to consoles.
How can I trust that the Japanese in Nihongo Quest is accurate?
Native Japanese are creating and reviewing the sentences for Nihongo Quest. In addition, we are planning to have all Japanese sentences be double checked with a lessened Japanese teacher.

So uh...who are you guys?
Nihongo Quest is mostly being developed by Bailey and Ai.
Ai is a native Japanese from Saitama, Japan. She came to the United States in 2021, and does all of the pronunciation and example sentences.
Bailey is from the US, but lived in Japan for 3.5 years. His experience with Japanese includes doing speech translation at the Consulate of Japan and working at a Japanese electronics company.
